Rental Rates

Please note Local Tourist Tax (Tax De Sejour) is collected by the property management at the start of the stay.

Rental Terms and Conditions
* A 20% deposit is payable at the time of booking by bank transfer and once this has been received together with a copy our terms and conditions duly signed your chosen dates will be reserved for you.

* A refundable security/damage deposit in the sum of £300 or euro 360 is payable together with the final balance.

*The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival or if your booking is less than 8 weeks prior to arrival then the full amount is payable upon booking
* In the event of having to cancel your holiday, the deposit is non-refundable. No money will be refunded if the holiday is cancelled less than eight weeks before arrival.
* Linen hire is included in the cost of your booking – this includes duvets, pillows, duvet covers, pillow cases, bed sheets, towels and tea towels.
*  You are responsible for your own travel insurance. Make sure it commences in good time to give cover in the event of cancellations, travel delays, Covid19 or other pandemics and health issues. 
* We shall not give any refund in the event of missed or cancelled ferry crossings or flights, road closures, strikes, bad weather, health pandemic or acts of terrorism. If you should need to place a claim we shall provide information for your insurance company.

* It is your responsibility to ensure that your travel documents are valid and you are able comply with Government entry requirements into France and no refunds will be given relating to any failures in this respect.
* It is advisable to carry with you a valid EHIC card (European Health Insurance Card).
* Smoking on the premises is strictly prohibited.
* We regret we do not accept pets
* Guests are expected to leave the cottage in the same clean and tidy condition in which it was found – failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning charge if the property is left in an unacceptable condition.
 * In lieu of the refundable security deposit, the guests agree to notify the owner of any breakages or damage to the property. The client agrees to be invoiced for any damage to property during, or arising from their stay and this will be limited to the resulting cost of any necessary replacement or repairs.
 * The client agrees to notify the owner of any defects, or appliance and equipment breakdowns.
 * The cottage will be available from 4.00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated no later than 10.00am on the day of departure. During quieter periods, it may be possible to arrive earlier – please contact owner.

Taxe de séjour
For all bookings throughout the year, the local tourist board Tourisme Haute Cornouaille charges a small nightly 'tourist tax', which must be collected on arrival in cash. The money goes towards tourism in the local area. Children under the age of 18 are exempt.
